Academic Ethics
Declaration on Academic Ethics of the Journal
Academic research is a vital force driving knowledge advancement and social development, while academic ethics serves as the cornerstone for the healthy and orderly conduct of academic research. As an academic journal committed to rigorous scholarship and disseminating high-quality academic achievements, Global Cases and Practices in Vocational Education regards academic ethics as the lifeline of the journal's development and resolutely upholds the fairness, objectivity, and authenticity of academic research. Here, we solemnly declare our stance and requirements on academic ethics:
Resolutely oppose academic misconduct: The journal explicitly opposes all forms of academic misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, piracy, fabrication or alteration of data, multiple submissions, duplicate publication, improper authorship, false citation, etc. These behaviors seriously violate the basic principles of academic research, undermine the dignity and credibility of academia, and cause significant damage to the academic ecosystem. We will adopt strict review mechanisms, utilizing advanced plagiarism detection software and professional review teams to conduct comprehensive and detailed reviews of submitted papers. Once academic misconduct is discovered, the submission will be immediately rejected, and depending on the severity of the case, appropriate punitive measures may be taken, such as notifying relevant academic institutions and prohibiting the author from submitting again within a certain period.
Strictly adhere to academic norms: The journal requires all submitted papers to accurately cite the sources of others' research findings when referencing, respecting their intellectual property rights. At the same time, we encourage authors to fully elaborate on their research ideas, methods, and innovation points in their papers to promote academic exchange. For papers that do not comply with academic norms, we will request authors to make revisions until they meet the requirements.
Ensure the fairness of the review process: The journal has established a scientific, fair, and transparent review system to ensure that every submitted paper receives an objective and professional evaluation. During the review process, reviewers will strictly adhere to the principle of confidentiality and not disclose the paper content or review opinions. At the same time, we implement a double-blind review system, where authors and reviewers are unaware of each other's identities to avoid the influence of personal relationships on the review results. Review opinions will serve as an important basis for the editorial department's decision-making, and we respect the professional judgment of reviewers, but also comprehensively consider factors such as the innovation, academic value, and social significance of the paper to make the final decision.
Strengthen academic ethics education: The journal recognizes the importance of academic ethics education and will strengthen academic ethics education for authors, reviewers, and editorial staff through various means. We will regularly organize academic ethics training activities, invite experts and scholars to explain relevant knowledge and cases of academic ethics, and improve everyone's awareness of academic morality and normative awareness.
